Hey EVERYONE it's free slurpee day at 7-11! Sadly my day did not consist of free slurpees because I just found out and it's nearly bedtime...boooo! However, I have so many questions regarding the "free-ness" of these slurpees. Do you get unlimited free slurpees? Do they care if you just fill it up, drink it while perusing the aisle of gum then return to the machine, fill, and repeat? Or does one have to go home, suck down that slurpee and get a brainfreeze while simultaneously changing clothes to go back incognito for another free slurpee? I NEED TO KNOW! Alas, I guess I'll have to wait until next 7-11. And this time I'm marking my dang calendar! I won't be the last to know again!!! While I sit and come to terms that I missed out on a great frozen treat opportunity, let me also share that I tried something brand new today! It won't seem like much to you (maybe), but it was quite an accomplishment for me. I made salmon! Well, technically I didn't "make" salmon, but I did cook it like a champ! I'm not a big fan of fish - touching, smelling, eating.. none of the above. However, Brian loves fish. He recently went with my mom and ordered a small shipload of salmon and cod. So now that our freezer looks like something from the deadliest catch (I totally wish it was a freezer full of crab!!), I have to try to use up some of them! And that's just what I did! Surprisingly, it was super fast and simple. Take a peek at my first attempt at a fish dinner dish! Tonight's Dinner: Lemony Garlic Salmon with Brown Rice and Peas
